Our Journey:
BOMOO, short form of Bank of Maharashtra Officers’ Organisation, is a dynamic and united community of dedicated officers serving for welfare of officers of Bank of Maharashtra. Founded in 1977, BOMOO achieved the remarkable milestone of gaining majority status within three years period of time. BOMOO is a non-political trade union, run by officers and for the welfare of officers.

Our Impact:
Through official verifications held over the years, BOMOO has been consistently declared as the majority union by the bank, among the officer cadre, thereby a representative of BOMOO is going to be appointed as Officers’ Director on the Bank of Maharashtra’s Board. BOMOO has represents all officers in the Staff Welfare Committee, Bank’s Pension Trust, and Provident Fund Trust.

Our Achievements:
BOMOO’s journey has been marked by unwavering commitment to officer’s welfare. We have actively contributed to the bank’s manpower planning, initiated fast-track promotions, and introduced schemes like rural service incentives, liberalized furniture schemes, and various allowances for officers. With 94 publications on subjects related to banking, we’ve been a source of knowledge and support for officers at every stage of their career.

BOMOO is affiliated with the National Organisation of Bank Officers (NOBO) and Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), India’s leading trade union. This strong network empowers us to represent your interests effectively.
